The Blue Heron Players tell a story of love and courage using the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and others. This play tells the story of how piano prodigy Lisa Jura’s music and courage lifted the spirits of everyone around her during the darkest days of WWII. Actor Carol Knowles performs the roles of Lisa Jura and 13 other characters who complete her story. Amy Torgerson takes on the role of Lisa as she performs excerpts from the music of numerous composers. Love, courage and the healing power of music are needed as much today as they were during World War II.
