The Pantry

The Pantry is a resident run retail shop and a practical place to shop for the things that you need or forgot during your last shopping trip.

• The Pantry is open for in-store shopping Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
• Payment for items purchased can be made in cash or charged to a resident account, or by payroll deduction for employees.

What You Can Buy at the Pantry

Household supplies: laundry detergent, bleach, dryer sheets, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, white trash bags, storage bags, cleaning supplies.

Personal hygiene:  soap, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, Poise, Depends, shaving cream.

Pharmaceuticals:  pain-killers, vitamins, cough drops, supplements, digestive aids, ointments.

Groceries:  breakfast cereals, baking supplies, canned and dried fruit, fruit juices, still, sparkling & distilled water, crackers, chips, Ensure, cookies, some gluten- and sugar-free products, jam, peanut butter, nuts.

Candy:   candy bars, bagged candy, sugar-free candy, boxed candy,  peppermint patties, sugar-free chewing gum.

Office supplies:  computer paper, pens, hi-lighters, tablets, portfolios, envelopes, tapes, thumbtacks, push-pins, staples, index cards.

Emergency supplies:  batteries (including hearing aid batteries), flashlights, space blankets, potty packs, band-aids & bandages.

This is just a sampling of what we carry; come on down for the full selection!

We do not promise to have everything every day.
Quantities may be limited.

Services of The Pantry

The Pantry is the place:

• that serves as a collection point for the Good Roots Food Bank
• where battery testers are available if you need to check the life in your batteries
• where outside visitors are welcome but must pay cash
• where residents of The Terrace or Health Center may have their orders delivered
  • Call ext. 6682 or tell your healthcare aide to email your order to The Pantry
• where independent living residents may order delivery if they are unable get to The Pantry; call ext. 6682

The Pantry is open 11 am-1 pm Monday through Saturday; 

our delivery box by the front door is always open!
