Beginning Tuesday, February 24, the Terrace Auditorium will open as a temporary dining room for Licensed Care residents and their guests. Dining hours will remain the same; breakfast 7–10 am, lunch 11am–2 pm, and dinner 4–6 pm. To Start, residents can enjoy the regular rotating menu along with an abbreviated “Always Available” menu. Seasonal specials will be introduced later in the spring.

Independent Living residents may continue to order take-out starting Tuesday, February 24. Orders may be placed online, by phone, or in person at the White Oak Grill host stand, with pickup in the same location as previously used. The take-out menu will include the rotating menu and an abbreviated selection of Always Available items.

On Tuesday, March 10 the Terrace Auditorium will open for Independent Living residents. Reservations will be required, with no walk-ins or guests permitted.

Please note that Tuesday, March 17 will be the final day of service for Waterfalls. We appreciate all the memories created there and look forward to welcoming residents into refreshed dining venues.

On Wednesday, April 1, the Terrace Auditorium Dining menus will expand to include rotating seasonal specials and a broader selection of “Always Available” items.

Dear Residents,

We would like to inform you of a planned power outage in the Manor building as part of the Manor retrofit project.
Date: Thursday, February 26
Time: Starting at 9:00 am until approximately 1:00 pm.
Location: Manor Building only

During this time, electricity will be temporarily unavailable in apartments and limited in common areas. In apartments, this includes lighting, heating, appliances and electrical outlets.
Generators will operate the following:

  • All Manor elevators
  • Heat
  • All automatic doors
  • Some hallway lighting
  • Manor Reception
  • In-house phones

We do not expect disruptions to dining services or to any other buildings. For manor residents who have Housekeeping scheduled during this time, EVS will reach out for any changes. 

Manor Meeting Rooms will not have power, including: 2nd Floor Heron Lounge, 3rd Floor Lounge, Multi-Purpose Room

If you attend a meeting or class in one of these locations during the outage hours, please check with the Sponsor for potential changes to the meeting time or location.

What You Should Do:

  • You may remain in your apartment if you wish.
  • Keep flashlights with fresh batteries easily accessible.
  • Limit opening refrigerators and freezers to help maintain temperature.
  • Charge cell phones, medical devices, and other essential electronics in advance.
  • If you use electrically powered medical equipment, please notify the Wellness team so they can assist with planning – Shannon, ext.7355 or Laela, ext. 6793.

  • Tuesday-Thursday off campus shuttle leaves at 9:30, 11:00, 12:30 and 2:00
  • Fitness classes: Better Balance 3, Chair Yoga, and aqua fitness

  • Blue Heron Auditorium: Movie TBD

Portland performing arts organization have begun advertising their 2026-2027 offerings.  Currently, Clackamas Repertory Theater and the Oregon Symphony have released their programs.  Bus sign ups for those organizations will begin Friday, February 13 at a table in the Manor lower level.  Please be aware that you must buy your own tickets to the events.  For each event:

  • Cost for the bus is $12 per resident
  • At least 8 residents must sign up
  • A sponsor must be established
