For the last 12 years Willamette View residents and students at Oak Grove Elementary School have been part of a pen pal program. Each month 4th and 5thgrade students and WV pen pals exchange letters. At the end of the school year students and WV pen pals have the opportunity to meet personally at the school. There are approximately 60 students anticipated for the 2026-27 school year . As of the end of August we have 49 WV residents recruited. The program is always looking for new WV pen pals. Interested residents should contact Teri Bennett.
