This story is set in New Delhi with an upper-middle class family preparing for the arranged marriage of their daughter to an Indian man living in Texas. Guests arrive from all over India, USA and Australia for the 4-day wedding. The engagement ceremony is celebrated with great pomp and ceremony, and after that everybody retires to get some sleep -- everyone except the bride! AARP named this the 2003 Best Foreign Film for Grownups.
