The DIG Steering Team is seeking participants to Join our Steering Team. We meet for an hour or so each month to plan future programming, which includes:
- identifying program topics/themes and determining the best format and resources for programs (presentation, workshop, experiential, movie, etc.)
- watching various sources for appropriate excursions (like our recent trips to the Clackamas Community College Indigenous Peoples Day celebration and the Bush Barn exhibition of Indigenous Contemporary Art), and
- deciding what topics would best serve our goals with a Court Gallery Display (Local Indigenous Peoples, Oregon history of refugees and immigrants, Maps of the world as different ways of seeing).
Individual members work to bring specific programs to fruition and to create the posters to publicize them.
