The November issue of the Willamette Views will be delivered on Friday, November 8, instead of November 1, due to a staff commitment.

Ballots are here. If you have not yet received your ballot, call Clackamas County Elections at 503.655.8510 to request a replacement ballot. To count, your ballot must be postmarked by 8 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 5th, and arrive in the Elections Office by Monday, Nov. 11th.

Unofficial Ballot Boxes are available through Election Day, Nov. 5th, at the Manor and Terrace reception desks during hours of operation. Every day, Voter Information Committee members take ballots from the boxes to an official drop box either outside City Hall on Main Street in Milwaukie or the Oak Lodge Library on McLoughlin Blvd.

Are you a veteran of uniformed service which includes the six military services and the uniformed portion of both the US Public Health Service and NOAA? The Resident Council requests your photo for a virtual Veterans Day recognition. We prefer pictures of veterans in uniform, but a current picture is also welcome. Please include your name, branch of service, and dates of service. Pictures needed by November 4, 2024.

The sign up sheet for an outing to the Portland Architectural Heritage Center on November 8th will be available at the Manor bulletin boards on Friday, Oct. 25th. Details available on the website under Events/Outings Committee Schedule.

APA is seeking art by resident artists for the November/December Wall Works show, “Text and Texture.” Say something with your art piece by using text or texture in a creative way. Texture could be real or drawn or painted creating an illusion of texture. Art must be framed, wired, and ready to hang, and delivered to the Wall Works skybridge on Friday, November 1 between 9:00 am and noon.
