Book Boulevard
The purpose of the Book Boulevard is to raise money for the Library; to provide a book store for residents, staff, and guest use; and to provide a volunteer opportunity for WV residents. Located in the Manor lower level near the Mart, Book Boulevard is under the supervision of the Manor library manager. Monies collected from sales of donated books help defray the cost of the library activities. Donations come from residents and staff, books weeded from the Library collection, and the general public.
Grab and Go
Books for the Grab and Go shelves come from donations to the Book Boulevard or directly to the book cart in the Manor or Plaza Fireplace Lounge. Any book that will not be shelved in the Plaza is taken to the donation shelf of the Book Boulevard. Books are chosen on the basis of a newer date of publication, usually within the last 5 years.
Grab and Go paperbacks are not checked in or out, have no borrowing time limits, and may be returned to any library drop box or Grab and Go location.
