Our lovely Sewing Room is located on the fifth floor of the Court right across from the elevators. It is open 24/7 and is equipped with notions, fabric, and almost every sewing tool imaginable.
Here is a list of just some of the treasures you will find there:
- sewing machines set up and ready for use
- a serger
- a large cutting table with a drawerful of rulers, rotary cutters, and scissors
- a lovely variety of threads, buttons, elastics, zippers, ribbons, trim and so much more!
- knitting needles, crochet hooks, and yarns
- needle craft books for viewing and instruction
For residents who wish to store their own sewing machine, there is shelving in a closet and table space in the Sewing Room for use.
You are also invited to attend the Sew Be It group that meets monthly. Bring your latest projects to share. The more the merrier!
