International Films is a subcommittee of the Movie Committee. Members focus on previewing, discussing, and selecting films for the monthly showing of an international film. International films are shown on the second Tuesday of each month.
An international film is one made outside the United States by primarily non-U.S. citizens with the dialogue being predominantly non-English.
Interaction among subcommittee members is primarily on-line with face-to-face conversations at the monthly Movie Committee meeting. Opportunity is provided for broadening one's understanding of the art of film as a universal experience.
