The Courier

Benedict Cumberbatch stars in this old fashioned spy adventure. Based on a true story of a British businessman unwittingly recruited as a courier to pass crucial intelligence to the West during the Cuban missile crises. Dickie Franks (Angus Wright) was indeed a real person who worked for MI6 while Emily Donovan (Rachel Brosnahan) plays a composite character of one of the few women working as a CIA operative in the 1960s.
