Departures

In this peaceful and touching film a newly unemployed cellist takes a job performing the ritual preparation for the dead.  In doing so he finds his true calling in life. Masahiro Matoki stars.  Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for 2008.     Discussion following film.
