Blue Heron Players

An amateur theater group composed of WV residents who perform plays and other stage works in the Blue Heron Auditorium, at different times during the year and in various venues. Several productions are performed each year. The director organizes their activities but they must have a designated treasurer and follow the Resident Council financial procedures.

Whether your interest is in sharing poetry, music, monologues, or performing in full-length plays, there is a spot for you to jump in and help us create. You do not need prior experience. You will not have to memorize scripts. Many of our productions use techniques learned from Readers Theatre companies in Chicago and New York City.
