The Resident Council has a resource for Willamette View residents looking for opportunities to volunteer away from Willamette View. A database has been created that includes more than 25 organizations in the Portland area which utilize volunteers. The list includes opportunities in a variety of categories, including ecology, art, science, history, education, animals, etc. Many of these opportunities provide perks, such as free admission, volunteer thank you events and reciprocal benefits from other organizations.
