The Events Planning and Coordinating Committee supports the planning for campus-wide events that are not sponsored by existing activity groups. The committee will provide guidelines for residents who want to host an event. These events may include:
- Recognition of a holiday or special activity.
- Provide a shared experience for residents across the campus.
- Promote a sense of community; and
- Support an opportunity for recognition and/or fun.
The committee will gather resident feedback on campus-wide Council events to assess how to improve an activity, the need to initiate new events or to discontinue events. In addition, the committee may work with the administration to co-plan and implement identified special events.
