MusicWorks is a resident effort to expand, enrich and diversify the music options of residents. This group arranges for live performances of non-classical music spanning swing, jazz, rock, country, roots, and other genres, as well as films and other experiences. They select their own leaders and membership, locate the performers, and make all arrangements for programs. They must follow Resident Council financial procedures.
Regardless of age, listening to and/or playing music, singing, dancing, or tapping your feet can evoke happy memories, exercise the muscles and brain, and bring about an overall feeling of well-being. You are invited to attend our next event! Unless stated otherwise, all events will be in the Blue Heron Auditorium.
