Walter Mathau won an Oscar for his role as a crooked lawyer who sees a financial windfall when a Cleveland Browns star accidentally levels his camera man brother-in-law. The brother-in-law is barely hurt, but realizes that scamming the insurance company might bring a financial reward with which he could lure back his ex. Also starring Jack Lemon.
