The story follows a middle-aged woman (Frances McDormand), who lives in her van, journeying through the American West as a modern-day nomad. Both the Oscars and BAFTA named the movie the Best Film, McDormand as the Best Actress, and Chloe Zhao as Best Director. Can't get much better than that nowadays.
