In 1971, the newly installed publisher of The Washington Post, Katherine Graham (Meryl Streep) and her editor Ben Bradlee (Tom Hanks) gain access to the secret documents called "The Pentagon Papers" that showed the U.S. involvement in Vietnam was riddled with years of systematic lies. Graham and Bradlee decide to publish this document, which led to an unprecedented battle between the press and the U.S. government. And it still goes on...
