In 1971, the newly installed publisher of The Washington Post, Katherine Graham (Meryl Streep) and her editor Ben Bradlee (Tom Hanks) gain access to the secret documents called "The Pentagon Papers" that showed the U.S. involvement in Vietnam was riddled with years of systematic lies.
