Inspired by true events, this movie tells the story of Sarah Winchester (Helen Mirren) who built what is now known as the Winchester Mystery House, a most unusual mansion located outside San Francisco that is home to hundreds of bizarre rooms and corridors. To the outsider it looks like a monstrous monument, but the theme here is that Sarah built it to seek redemption and as a place for ghosts to settle their score with the Winchester family for promoting guns.
