Ticket purchase: Contact information for the various box offices are listed on the Performing Arts Off-Campus Bus Schedule. Call for a brochure or go online to obtain specific information about cost, performances, seating and accessibility. Inquire about whether there are ticket discounts for seniors. When ordering, remember that Willamette View provides bus transportation only for the dates specified on the current Performing Arts Off-Campus Bus Schedule.
Securing bus transportation: Sign-up on the series sheets located on the Manor bulletin board shelf and provide all the information requested. Bus transportation is $10 per performance for a resident and/or caregiver and $12 for a non-resident. This is billed to the resident's account once the sheets are picked up prior to the event. This information is available from Manor Reception when the sheets are not at the Manor bulletin board.
If you cannot use a ticket for an individual performance, you may give or sell the ticket to another resident. You must inform Manor Reception and the event sponsor. If another resident is using your ticket let Manor Reception know to ensure that the resident replacing you is billed for the bus transport. The resident replacing you should also inform Manor Reception and the bus sponsor so that the bus driver knows who is using your bus seat.
If during the year you wish to attend a single performance in a series, check with Manor Reception as to the availability of a bus seat and add your name to the sign-up sheet if possible.
If you plan to bring a walker or wheelchair, check the appropriate box on the sign-up sheet. The bus driver will store your walker or wheelchair for you. You must be able to get on and off the bus without assistance from the driver. If needed, you may bring someone to assist you. This person must have a valid ticket and a reserved bus seat. Also, if you have special needs and require assistance at the event, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact the event venue for details on how they may provide assistance.
Terrace residents who wish to attend a series must be approved by the Terrace administrator. Buses leave from the Manor Lobby, however you can arrange for a pick-up at other building entrances by calling the sponsor 24 hours in advance.
If fewer than eight people sign-up for a series, the bus may be cancelled. Bus transport cost is based on a minimum of eight passengers.
