The challenge is on — staff vs. residents. Who can produce the best Pumpkin Heads of History. Take any pumpkin, any size, add whatever is needed to turn it into a character we know from history, novels, movies, cartoons, tv shows. Add a hat, wig, jewelry, paint, glitter — whatever works. Due Oct. 30 by noon at Blue Heron Auditorium. Voting starts at 2:00 pm that day. Winners announced on Halloween. Pumpkins available Oct. 15.
