During WW II, a French train engineer attempts to stop a Nazi train leaving France with a cargo of stolen museum art. Starring Burt Lancaster, a former circus performer, who performed all his own stunts in this action packed film also starring Jeanne Moreau, and directed by John Frankenhheimer. It received an Oscar nomination for best original screen play.
