This picaresque road trip comedy follows a man (in a hat) in a tiny Fiat 500 driving through southern France up into the scenic Auvergne. Though there’s almost no dialogue, the musical performances and clever scenes tell the story as events unfurl. The whimsical tone is sustained throughout with a touch of mystery and melancholy. Ciaran Hinds leads the cast directed by John-Paul Davidson and Stephen Warbeck.
