The Audio Visual and Lighting Work Group makes it possible to see and hear the many movies, concerts, presentations, and meetings that are so important to our community.

We welcome and need new team members, both those who would like to provide AV support in general and those who would like to support only events of particular interest to them. If any of you would like to make a meaningful contribution to our community in this way, please consider joining us.

See the AudioVisual & Lighting activity page for more information.

The DIG Steering Team is seeking participants to Join our Steering Team.  We meet for an hour or so each month to plan future programming, which includes:

  • identifying program topics/themes and determining the best format and resources for programs (presentation, workshop, experiential, movie, etc.)
  • watching various sources for appropriate excursions (like our recent trips to the Clackamas Community College Indigenous Peoples Day celebration and the Bush Barn exhibition of Indigenous Contemporary Art), and
  • deciding what topics would best serve our goals with a Court Gallery Display (Local Indigenous Peoples, Oregon history of refugees and immigrants, Maps of the world as different ways of seeing).

Individual members work to bring specific programs to fruition and to create the posters to publicize them.

We particularly currently need a funds manager and someone to assist us with web page posting.

The Web Tech Workgroup maintains and develops new and improved features on our resident website. We welcome any interested resident to join our efforts.

The website is built on the Drupal platform. Even if you haven't worked with Drupal but are willing to learn an application new to you, we invite you to talk with us. Most of us have learned "on the job."
