Personnel Committee

Function

  • provide nominees for vacancies in the Resident Council occurring between regular Association meetings, for the editorship of Willamette Views, and for the managers of the campus stores
  • advise as requested and nominate membership of the Standing Committees
  • serve as an advisory group to the Resident Council and Council Chair
  • protect the Association members from violations of the Resident Council Constitution

Membership

  • The Committee will consist of five (5) voting members
  • One member shall be the immediate past Chair of the Council
  • Two members of the Committee shall be elected at each of the Resident Association meetings in June & December.
  • All members shall have previously served on the Resident Council, but not currently hold a Council position.
  • The current Resident Council Chair shall serve as liaison to this committee from the Resident Council.
  • There will be no designated liaison with Willamette View Administration The committee shall meet as needed, submit nominations to the Council for approval and a report/budget as requested by Council Chair.
