Milwaukie Museum Visit
The sign up sheet for an outing to the Milwaukie Museum on Feb. 13th will be available at the Manor bulletin boards on Friday, Jan. 31st. There will be no bus charge for this trip because we will use the shopping bus.
Milwaukie Museum visit
A visit to this small local museum in an historic house run by the Milwaukie Historical Society, WV resident Steve Bennett, president. There is no admission charge, though donations are accepted. Because of its size, this visit will be about an hour long, so we will take the Thursday 11:00 shuttle. There is no charge for this bus . To reach the second story of this museum you must take stairs.
Outing to PDX

A group of 25 residents made a trip to see the new Portland Airport terminal and had lunch at the Loyal Legion beerhall. Resident Don McHarness, who volunteers as a PDX greeter, provided a tour.
Oregon Historical Society Museum visit

Ten WV residents visited the Oregon Historical Society Museum on a beautiful sunny day in January, 2025. We saw the permanent exhibits plus "A Fountain of Creativity: Portland's 20th Century Artists."
Outings Committee member
The Outings committee plans excursions to places away from the WV campus. See the "Outings Committee" page for more information. We meet monthly for about a hour.

Seventeen residents visited the Lan Su Chinese Garden in downtown Portland on a beautiful late summer day.
Guide Dogs for the Blind Outing

A group of 24 residents took a tour of the Guide Dogs for the Blind training facility in Boring, Oregon. Willamette View residents Heather and Bill Cohen are puppy trainers for the organization and brought along Scooby, a puppy that they are currently babysitting.
Outing to Oregon Rail Heritage Center
